Named a Healthcare Transformer by Medical, Marketing & Media and one of the “100 most inspiring people in healthcare” by PharmaVoice, Ryan’s brought a dynamic mix of creativity, data-driven thinking, and proven delivery across an array of life sciences and biopharmaceutical organizations.
Ryan was recently appointed as the Head of Commercial Innovation at Organon, the only global women’s health company of its size. There he is responsible for building out modern marketing capabilities and big ideas to enable Organon’s brands to go to market in seamless, modern, and innovative ways.
Prior to Organon, most recently Ryan held senior global marketing and customer experience roles within GSK’s HIV and Oncology business units. He was also Executive Director, Digital Engagement at AMAG Pharmaceuticals, Director of Social Strategy at AstraZeneca, and held multiple Social Media Strategy roles at Merck.
Ryan holds a BA in Public Relations & Advertising from Messiah University, an MS in Publication Management from Drexel University, an MBA from Northeastern University, and an Executive Certificate in Technology, Operations, and Value Chain Management from MIT.
Outside of work, Ryan has been involved with Stonewall Sports, an LGBTQIA+ community sports league, since 2015 in both Philadelphia and Raleigh. He’s also been a member of and volunteer for the Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus and the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus. Ryan was also on the Board of Trustees of the PYO Music Institute (formerly the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra) until he moved to North Carolina during the pandemic. Ryan lives in Durham, NC with his husband, Elias, and their menagerie of animals.
